Apple TV 4K audio out of sync

I have the 4K Apple TV hooked up directly to my LG OLED B7 tv. Whenever I play a video whether an iTunes video or Netflix, there is about a 3 second delay between when their lips move and the audio comes out. If I play the audio through my receiver via the optical out on my tv and it is delayed but also stutters. Music through my receiver from the Apple TV is fine though so it’s not some bad connection. Has anyone else had similar issues? I could fix the delay by doing an audio delay adjustment on my tv but one, that shouldn’t be necessary if everything is functioning properly and two, there would still be a stutter when playing audio through the receiver. Any ideas?

Got the update for my E7 last night.

All problems are fixed.

My E7 was updated last night as well, and it appears that the issue has been resolved, although I'll need to do a bit more viewing to be sure. Fingers crossed...

Has anyone with this problem with a OLED55B7V had a firmware update and if so has it resolved the problem?

I have not yet received the firmware update and still have the issue. Turning off Dolby Atmos as others have suggested hasn’t worked.

Just a note that I tried taking the Marantz out of the equation, and so far things seem better connected straight to the TV.

Yay! Firmware 04.70.06 on OLED55E7N fixed the issue for me.

I have had the same issue for a while now, last night I opted in, and download the latest beta update which cleared this up for me.

I had the same problem with my 4K (tvOS 11.2.1) and C7 after I had turned on the “Smart Sound Mode” on the C7. Turning it off fixed it.
