When you right-click on a photo in Photos High Sierra it presents a drop down menu containing the "Edit With" command. When you select "Edit With" it slides out a menu of Apps on your Mac to use for editing photos. Many of my photo editing Apps are not on this list. Is there a way to remove and/or add photo editing Apps to this "Edit With" menu? How does it chose which Apps to put on there? Here is a screen shot of what I am talking about:

Any app that's in the Application folder or on any external HD that can edit or just open an image file is listed in that menu.
The warning you get is this:
As long a you've finished editing in PS and have saved the file as a jpeg (or what the file was originally) you can edit with Photos.
I know what you're referring to. However, for some reason some of the Adobe apps are not compatible with Photos 3 so the next best solution is to use the External Editors.
That's interesting. I just started dabbling with this new feature today for the first time. I didn't know there are issues. Maybe I'll need External Editors for a while yet.
I've switched to Luminar 2018 as external editor. I can call it directly from the Edit panel in Photos as an extension.

Yeah, that's not actually correct. I have a number of photo editing apps, in Applications, but I never see anything but Preview, Color Sync and Grab.
