With the upgrade to IOS 11 when charging my phone, when it reaches full the phone starts beeping. This is very disturbing at night and requires me to unplug to stop the noise. This then leads to a 90% charged phone by the morning. How can I stop this unnecessary alert?

There is no notification or beep when the phone is fully charged, regardless of the iOS version. There is a problem with the charging cable, the power source, or lint and debris in the lightning port. Clean out the port and / or have the cable and charger checked or replaced.
Wish Apple would listen to everyone here and all over the internet instead of ridiculing us like we’re idiots.

Recently got a new battery and they upgraded he phone to 11.2. This is happening to me now. Never happened before. Real annoying.
The battery was replaced at the Apple Store (Genius) in Salem NH. They checked the phone out completely as well.
I use multiple charger/cable combinations at home and work. Happens regardless, but only since the OS upgrade. Does not happen if there’s an app open; only on lock screen or home page.
It’s also happening for me just after the last iOS update. There isn’t any problem with the case connection, the problem occurres only when charge is complete (100%).

How many people have to ask the same question before you realize that your response is not helpful?
It helped me.
Mine only started doing it after upgrade to 11.2. Using original Apple charger. If it only beeped once, would be ok, but it beeps continually unless I have an app running.
Just updated to 11.2.5 yesterday. No change.
