Why does bluetooth keep turning on with iOS 11

Why does bluetooth keep turning itself on now I've upgraded to iOS 11, it was fine with iOS 10 but it is now constantly turning itself on and I keep having to go back and switch it off.

This is extremely frustrating.

This is super annoying. It is an on/off button. Not a “disconnect” button. How stupid is that? If you’re going to invent a new button, then invent a new icon that clearly differentiates from what any numbskull (except Apple Engineers) knows is a Bluetooth on/off button. Apple, you‘ve strayed into to the deep end of the fairyland pool this time.

I was around since the beginning of the PC and Windows and the iPhone and the iPad when Windows was a pain and any IOS update/new version was totally transparent. It made you feel that you didn't do any update or upgrade. After my first experiences with iPhone and iPad I used to think "my next computer will be a Mac".......... not anymore. Now every IOS update/improve comes with some blunders that eventually Apple takes care of, but you have to live with the blunders for - in some vcases - months. It's just like Microsoft Windows. With IOS I had to set up again a lot of my preferences that the new IOS reverted to Apple's default. That should not happen.... but it does.

You realize there is a difference between Bluetooth and Wi-fi right?

But you apparently don't realize that the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi buttons on the control center work exactly the same way. AND you didn't bother to read the rest of the thread before posting, where this subject, including the difference between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, as well as the similarities, has been discussed over and over and over. You have not contributed anything useful to the discussion.

Much more than a switch being moved. That would be completely fine. What is frustrating is that Apple engineers change the behavior of the device in completely arbitrary ways and then don’t provide a single line of usable documentation.

Sadly the first step in a company’s decline and fall is the decision by arrogant executives to build themselves an extravagant monument to their “genius.”

So while we can expect Apple to survive for another decade or so, Cook et al have clearly lost the thread that made Apple great. it’s a company now run for the glorification and enrichment of its executives and stockholders, users be ******.
