ios 11 screen mirroring/airplay trouble

Ever since I downloaded the ios 11, the screen mirroring/airplay on Apple TV will only play/screen for a few minutes on my TV then turn off. Then I have to press screen mirroring again for it to come back on or sometimes have to enter a new code. I used to be able to watch a movie using Airplay from my Amazon Prime video app or my FilmStruck app uninterrupted. Not anymore.

Also, not only does the same thing happen with the WATCH TCM app through Airplay, but when the movie now starts, I can only get the audio, not the video.

I have tried restarting the Apple TV, but nothing works.

I need help.

That is possible, and the Amazon app has also had issues in the past with glitches (they even had airplay blocked for a long time).

What kind of an advice is that?? We are here asking for help and all you can say is “go troubleshoot?”
