High Sierra random display sleep

Could this be caused by a Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adapter?

Sure not. There is no adapter connected to my Mac.

Where do I send the logs? It's 235 MB compressed.

Same here! It started since I updated to High Sierra months ago, but previously I though I just pressed something accidentally, but know I know that it is a bug

10.13.3 did not solve issue for me... only happens when it is connected to external monitors.

Same issue for me. 10.13.3 didn't fix it either. Happens when I unlock with Touch ID, even without anything connected and just running on battery or plugged in.

I'm having the same issue. I hope this isn't another ploy to upgrade. Following in-case this get's solved

I have the same problem with my MacBook Pro w/Touch Bar, connected to the LG 5K monitor. I only noticed the problem since the last update (macOS 10.13 (17A405)). The computer will go to sleep after 2 or 3 minutes, even though I am actively using it. Screen saver is turned off and delay for turning off the display is 15 mins. Safe reboot did not help.

It looks like there might be two issues here.

One is about closing lid sensor which activates when there's something magnetic around like a Bluetooth speaker or a phone case with magnetic clasp or an Apple Watch magnetic strap like described here SOLVED: Why does my MacBook Pro put itself to sleep while I'm working? - MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2012 - iFixit.

And the other seems to be related to sleep timer... Or not... Mine is set to 2 minutes but it never works as expected. Sometimes it goes to sleep in exactly 30 seconds (the screen goes dark instantly) several times in a row, and sometimes in about 3:40 it deems out a bit and in another 10s goes dark, then again it goes dark instantly in just 20 seconds of inactivity. I set with a stopwatch for about an hour and couldn't find any particular pattern. Most of the time it's just 3:40+10 or 30 not depending on how I unlock or what activity there is. And less often it's 20 or even less.

PS: I also have a Hot Corner setup to put the display to sleep. No Norton/Symantec/Microsoft software.
