Is there a way to make Siri give you more time to speak before jumping in and cutting you off? She's got me in the habit of speed talking. And even then, without me even pausing, she cuts me off in the middle of my question or dictated text. It's driving me nuts and making Siri virtually unusable.

Yes! Hold the power button and don't release it until you're done with your question. When you're done speaking, release it and Siri will then start replying to you.
I have the same issue even when i hold the button down which worked for awhile, but no longer. I can only get 3 or 4 words out.
Same problem here! Holding the home button won’t do it for me because I use “hey Siri” or I did use it, now it’s too annoying.
This isn’t much help for those of us who use Siri mainly as a hands-free helper.
Holding the power button turns off my phone, so I don't think holding down the power button can be the answer

I believe they meant the Home button.
Sorry I don't know why you have to hold the button down, though.
I agree, NumbersinPgh. If Siri is meant for VI and blind people, or those who cannot tap, then it doesn't do what it says.

That cheered me up when I read it ... but sadly when I tried it I had the same problem, Siri stopped part-way through the message and concluded Do you want to reply?
