Contacts does not allow me to edit Smart Groups.

When I click on a Smart Group name > Edit> Edit Smart Group, the edit dialogue box is blank, showing no criteria at all.

What you say is likely right. It would seem to be only a matter of deleting the current SG and creating another with the same name and criteria. Thanks.

Yes, it seems like window rendering. The Smart Groups are not corrupted and they can be edited. It's just matter of resizing the edit pane as I described.
