Try setting up Text Replacement for the letter "i"
Here’s what you can do to work around the issue until it’s fixed by a future software update:
.New update 11.1.2 fixed it for me. Nothing else I tried would work.
Can’t type the letter I️ , showing up weird. A little box or the letter A and a question mark inside of a box.
