ios 11.1 battery drain

I’m the same with my brand new iPad Pro 10.5 it was fine now it’s down to 12% after a few hours, when it would usually still be at 52%

People say that disable the assistive touch can help...if so, my question is: then why we have an assistive touch?

When will Apple stop anouncing 70 plus new Emojis and fix the battery drain problem?

After running it for a couple days, it would appear that iOS 11.2 has fixed my battery woes. Hopefully everyone else has similar luck!

There is already a suit started. Go search the internet. They admit to causing problems on the older phones.

My 7plus set overnight on my nightstand with all apps closed and it dropped 40% battery charge, it showed the exact same 8.5 hours active and standby - majority usage is shown as Safari 50% and Mail 30%. It’s the same for the last two night despite reboots. What gives Apple?

I’m experiencing the same issue with my new iPhone 8. It was perfectly fine on iOS 11, the battery was fantastic! However after upgrading to iOS 11.1, the battery seems to have taken a nose dive! Doesn’t last anywhere near as long as it should.

That's what j'm speaking about. More bloody emojis are important? may be, but above all, we need "battery" to use all the amazing "things" that Apple give us. Please Apple, do it better!!! we know that you can...

Been disabled but battery life still much worse with iOS 11.1. For example, went to App Store at 20%, updated 3 apps on fast wifi, battery dropped to 13% within about 2 minutes. Something is seriously wrong.

Since updating from 10.3.3 to 11.1.1 on my iphone 6s, my battery drain has increased dramatically. With 10.3.3 I could go all day listening to music and making calls and still be at 80%. Now within 3 hours or so I am down to 70% or lower. I could care less about emojis, I want reliable software. I am tired of going through my settings turning things down or off to fix this flakey IOS 11 update. Apple please take note and fix this issue. It is a problem reported all over the internet.

Also, Having some problems with Siri. She gets confused when asking (for example) to play a particular Beatle song, she plays some different song or group! I can deal with this to some degree but the battery drain really needs to be addressed. This was one bad release. I have been with Apple since 1993 and this has been the most frustrating to date. I will say, their phone support have been amazing with followups and call backs. That being said, the phone techs are at a loss with some of these bugs. I hope Apple comes up with a quick resolve, we are 3 updates into IOS 11 but there needs to be more.
