There was standard and zoom view in iPhone 7 but no such option on iPhone X... Is there a way to get larger icons and folders like "zoomed" view on previous models?

I already did submit a feedback, after having tried to get a workaround on this.
Until now all I could find was a partial display zoom.
So the more requests we send, the better.
I’m afraid my iPhone X is getting traded-in for an 8 this weekend. Can’t fathom why Apple would choose to leave this function out / fail to find a way to include it?

Have you gone to settings>general>accessibility>screen accommodations and checked there? Is there anything in the owners manual? (it should be a bookmark in safari)
What does the users manual say?
That is a different setting, it is not a permanent Display Zoom... 3-finger tap is a different thing.

So I get a new phone with a bigger screen. But with smaller text and icon. Why?
But it is still there on my iPhone 6 running 11.0.3
And it's still there on the iPhone 6 we have with iOS 11.1.1
Fortunately you can still adjust text to various sizes. It's the UI elements, most noticeable to me is the icons/folders on the Home page, that don't seem to have a permanent way to enlarge them.
