I suggest you bring your iPhone X in for repair. Apple will mosy likely replace the device free of charge, since this seems to be a widespread issue.

I had this same issue as well with a bright green line going down the right side of my screen 2 weeks after having the phone. I called it into Apple Support and I took it into the Genuis Bar the week after (earliest appointment available). They were willing to repair the display for free but needed to keep the phone overnight. I couldn't leave my phone overnight so they ended up giving me a replacement phone instead. I am located in Toronto, Canada.
As has been said several times, if you have this issue, there is no need to post here; it is a display failure, so simply return your phone to the Apple Store or your local servicer and it should be replaced under warranty.
1) Go to your local Apple Store or services
2) Show them the problem
3) They should replace th screen or phone
I had the same problem but it was on the left hand side of my phone. I had to take it to an Apple store and the repaired it for free.
Got my screen replaced at the Apple store today. 0.00 charge under warranty
Fixed the problem. Only took 1 1/2 hours

Same issue popped up on Jan12 after very normal (boring) use of the phone ie no shocks, no falls, no extreme temperatures, phone in a case and with a glass screen protection since day 1
Took 7 days to get an appointment at a 'Genius' bar where they offered to replace the screen when i asked for an exchange for a new unit ... 1 hour wait seemed acceptable anyway but i had to wait 2 hours to have the 'Genius' tell me they have to give me a brand new one ... problem solved but this is a first in my 20+ years of owning Apple devices that i experience poor quality manufacturing AND poor quality service in the same instance - disappointed
Everyone having this issue needs to return their phone for exchange - it may be a manufacturing issue, and I've never seen this on any demo phone.
Then return to the Apple Store and have it replaced.
It matters little what the reason is for the issue; what matters is Apple will replace any device experiencing it.
I was at Apple store in Berlin too last Friday, they had no iPhone X there but next morning they had luckily one for "repair / replacement" and some for people who wants to buy the new iPhone X.
First on Friday one Engineer in the store told me that this issue with the green line "is a known software bug“.
And will be fixed with an IOS Update.
But i don’t know, I can’t believe him personally.
I have now since Saturday my replaced iPhone X and I hope it not come to the old problem.
Are you annoyed by the posting of the pictures ?
In this way people encountering this issue recognize the problem and act accordingly.
The phone was exchanged today by apple acknowledging the issue at hand, nonetheless this doesn't absolve a company like Apple putting on the market a very expensive product without proper testing and quality !
So minimizing the problem by saying - " Some iPhone X displays have experienced failures; when a device is new is the most likely time for this to occur.
If it happens to you, simply visit your local Apple Store or other servicer and arrange for repair/replacement. " -
doesn't make it better or more comfortable to customers paying 1000 $ for a phone .

I agree its needs to be taken back for exchange, but I wouldnt do it before they find out what the issue is. You may just get another from the same batch.
