yes - I tried to re-pair all my devices. My phone is not discovering the devices. Just cycles. I can see it discovering other devices (none of mine)....I have powered it off several times as well to restart. Is there a setting I need to click that I am unaware of? I didnt have this problem with any other phone.
Same issues. Searches fir devices cyclically no result
Tested with other iPhone X devices with the same BT devices, issue remains.
These BT devices has worked from iPhone 5s to iPhone 7 Plus, this issue has occurred with iPhone X and iOS 11
What kind of car and what devices?
Mine works with BMW X3, Ford F150 Sync 3, Acura, BMW 328i, Chevrolet Tahoe, 6 different BT headphones, and 3 different speakers.
Car
- Mazda6 2012 (with BT)
BT devices
- Beat Pill+
- Harmon Kardon BT speaker
Don’t have a Mazda to try but one of the speakers I’ve connected to is a Beats Pill+. Make the Genius Bar appointment and take the speaker and just the iPhone X.
Sorry to hear it didn’t work for you. It’s worked for many others with the same issue.
If you haven't reported it to Apple, please do.
Mine won't even pair
I can't agree more. It's important that we all report these issues.
Would someone kindly provide instructions on the best way to contact Apple on this?
Email?
A particular site?
I would recommend to call Apple Support and report it. Also make sure that you request to speak with the senior support. I have my case with the Swedish senior support.
Return the phone. It's clearly defective. I have two iPhone X. Neither phone has ANY issues connecting to any Bluetooth device or car I've connected them to.
Thanks. I'm doing just that this afternoon. Nice to know it's working for you.
Not just me. I know lots of people with iPhone X and none are having Bluetooth connectivity issues.
In my case that didn’t solve it. Have both done a reset of my iPhone and car.
