Then I'd hazard a guess it has more to do with your car system than the phone. Contacts have never not downloaded to our cars since day 1 with either of our iPhone X's.

Apple really need to sort out their Bluetooth tech. I can’t pair with the SENA 20S Bluetooth motorcycle headset - a Samsung phone is looking pretty good right now...

Mine is now not connecting to my car radio but it works with my Bluetooth headphones
