Beats x not working for calls on iPhone X

Has anyone else experienced the problem where the Beats x headphones work for everything apart from calls?

On the call I am selecting Beats X as the audio device but no sound is coming through and the mic isn't working, so I have to fall-back to the traditional - hold the phone.

This is an intermittent issue and so far I have resolved it by rebooting the phone and re-pairing the Beats X but this is time consuming and unsatisfactory for two products from the same stable (Apple Inc).

I've found out what's causing the issue with my Beats X / iPhone 7 Plus. iPhone is on 11.3 - All audio except calls/voicemail is absolutely fine. I have this issue with both my Beats X and Bose QC35 II's. After unpairing/pairing, resetting network settings, resetting the entire iPhone, the only solution that has worked for me is either switching my Apple Watch off or putting it into airplane mode, as soon as I've done this the headphones issue on calls goes away. My watch is on 4.3 as I just updated that today, but the issue was there before this update and it's still there now. Interested to know if anyone has tried this and had the same result. I now find myself in the position of having to choose either the watch or the headphones and the headphones win as I wear my Beats X most of the day, mainly for calls.

I have the same problem with iPhone 7s. New beats x pairs easily and can hear music and podcasts but will not function in phone mode. Failure is both with the speaker and microp

Sadly, I tried this yesterday - and truly blew away all my settings. And it still did not work. 😟

I am still marooned with no functioning Beats X wireless earpods. As we type, I am on a conference call and am using the speaker on my phone. sigh...

I may try tilting at the windmill again. Although I admit, I am not enamored with blowing away my settings again. That is a pain.

I have this issue too with iPhone X. Beats X seem to work fine with incoming calls though, I don't know if this other people's experience as well.

I’ve got the same issue with my beats x. I’m on my second pair and everything but calls works on the iPhone X (paired with beatsX). Very annoying when you expect this function to work seamlessly.

The Center button on the RemoteTalk cable will not answer calls for me. It is really frustrating. And, I do not wish to reset all my Settings.

Same problem here. Works for music, not for calls in or out. Why hasn't this problem been fixed, Apple? I should not have to go through erasing all of my settings or erasing my phone to fix this?
