I just got the iPhone X on Saturday and I've noticed that I when I unlock my screen (using the passcode), there is a black loading screen that shows up sometimes for a few seconds and then reverts back to the lock screen where I have to unlock again.
I have already tried resetting all settings. Then I tried a factory reset and the issue still persisted.
Anyone facing a similar issue or has a fix? Thanks.

Where you able to figure this out? I just got my phone over the weekend and it's driving me nuts and getting worse with each day.... 😐
I have the same issue, did you find out why is doing it? I got my phone two days ago and I notice the same black loading screen.
Same! I restored backup from 6splus and every so often it has to think then I am able to unlock rather frustrating.
Has Apple been able to fix this for you? I am having the same problem and would rather not use facial recognition.

Same issue here but the black loading screen repeats infinitely every 15-20 seconds. Tried to reset it, to reconfigure it but the issue remains.
I set up as new iPhone.
Same issue here, getting worse everyday. Restore and set up as new iPhone doesn't work. Hope someone can chime in on this issue.
