iPhone X shipping delays in Korea

we are definitely on the same batch. mine says departed 11.07 from Incheon. spoke with apple this morning, since their original email says delivery is today. they said it's out of their hands coz the item is already in transit. we only have to keep checking with UPS. i really hate this anxiety. wish i never pre-ordered

Mine left SKorea Wednesday heading to Anchorage, then immediately to Louisville. Spent yesterday in Louisville (guessing for holiday) and flew out today with delivery expected (Seattle region) by end of day. Don't give up hope. Once it finally makes it out of Asia it's fairly quick. I don't know what is happening in China but UPS told me all Apple shipments are being delayed out of China. As for the ping-ponging, that's just bizarre and I wish it hadn't happened to everyone.

Apple's delivery date is nothing more than an estimate, so sadly you should not count on seeing your X today. Based on several of the above posts, there's been some holdup in China, which again would be completely out of Apple's control. The good news is once it hits Anchorage, it moves through the system quickly, but given when your phone left Incheon, I would guess a Monday or Tuesday deliver date is what you'll see. UPS doesn't deliver these types of shipments on Saturday.

Tadapple1023 did complain to Apple customer service and got a special delivery for Saturday a few minutes after. so i am guessing we are all getting the same special treatment for Saturday delivery due to the complaints, or Apple might just be deciding to do it as a goodwill gesture

Im not sure however it seems Apple has been apologizing for delays. I had just received an email from them. A bunch of deliveries of people above have been rescheduled, I just received a UPS Quantum View notification confirming Saturday delivery.

I received an email from Apple today as well. They stated they have worked with the carrier and my scheduled delivery is back on track. My delivery is scheduled for Saturday. I called UPS and the confirmed it will be delivered Saturday...fingers crossed!

What did UPS say when you asked them since they

are currently in possession of the iPhone?

Yeah!! My one is exactly the same as yours except mine was a day ahead of yours in china and mine only has an arrival scan in KR on 11/14 @ 7:30 (which showed up 11/13 in the am). I don't have the additional entry about clearance in KR. on 11/14. I got a text from UPS yesterday that it would be delivered by EOD today. I know it wouldn't matter to Apple one bit but I am thinking when I get back from vacation I am going to go pick it up and return all of it. I need a phone for my vacation and I think I'm ready to try something new.

My iP X is in the same batch as yours. I got the exact same times and dates of arrival/departure scan. I was promised a 11/21 Delivery by Apple. I am not relying on UPS' delivery estimate (which was 11/16 on the day of dispatch).

Hope we get it soon.

I do know people who got their 256GB on the 3rd, they have done pre-orders for more than the US since I can remember, UPS has two major stopping points out of the original destination, Shanghai and Incheon. They are about the same distance to Anchorage. Apple also uses FedEx still (that is who delivered my coffee mates phone).

Apple's Terrible job shipping! Just finally received my UPS email showing my iPhone X has finally made it to the States yesterday. They now show I should have it Monday. That is 12 days after UPS received it. Ridiculous

You'd think because of this delay that Apple or UPS would have at least upgraded my delivery to Saturday.

Apple, you dropped the ball big time this time, Very disappointed.

You do understand how shipping works right? Once the phone is out of Apple's hands and in the hands of the shipper, Apple has no control over the shipment. If you want to moan and whine like an entitled child, feel free. But this isn't the place to do it as you clearly don't have a question to ask and this is a user to user technical support forum, not a rant forum. Take your angst out where it belongs, which is with UPS.

Just so you know. UPS just bounces you back to Apple. Both companies are badly mishandling this iPhone launch. I have received several conflicting notifications from both companies. I have had to cancel or reschedule appointments several times. On the morning the iPhone was delivered I received emails from both of them that the shipment would be rescheduled for another day. As much as I like Apple products, I do believe we were played by Apple.

Mine is alllllll over the place. Back and forth from China and now 2 days in Korea. Before it hit Korea, it said “delivered by the 21st” but it just says unknown. Apple email says the 24th, so we’ll see.
