Any ideas?
I don't have Mozilla and I don't know how to re-set
Safari or empty the cache. Are there any problems
with doing either of these things if you explain to
me how to do them?
The first time I tried downloading Firefox, it took a
long time, maybe 20 minutes, and all the other times,
it only took a minute or so. Are there any parts of
the download that aren't being removed from my
computer when I put each failed download in the
trash?
I have a fast Comcast connection. The first time the
download was slow, but it wouldn't open. The next 11
attempts to downloaded it did it fast. Either way it
didn't open and when I click on it, it flashes, but
won't open. the download box says "mounting failed".
What about "opening with diskmounting default "
option? What is that? Is there a problem with
clearing the Safari cache? I think I've read that it
can be a problem. And what is "re-seting Safari"?And
is this the solution anyway? There must be an
answer. All my other downloads work great. Is there
any other browser beside Firefox you might recommend?
I need an alternate browser as Safari won't open
some stuff I need.
When I click on the disk image after download, it
flashes, but doesn't open. If I right click on it, I
get the option "open with diskimagemounter (default)"
What is this, and should I try it? Maybe the
download doesn't know what to open in?
Am I sounding dumber and dumber?
should I try downloading again and then right click
the disk image (even though the download says the
mounting failed) and try "open with
diskimagemounter"? Is this the same thing mentioned
above?
