How come Easter isn’t showing up on my calander but all the other holidays are?

Do you have the Holiday calendar selected in your Calendar app? Go to the Calendar app, tap Calendars in the bottom center of the screen and make sure that you have a tick next to the Holiday calendar.

I also have this problem on my iPhone 7+ with iOS 11.2.1. This problem does not occur on my iPod Touch V6 with iOS 11.2.1. I am not sure when the problem started as it seems to only occur for Easter. I haven’t checked all holidays though.

I have the same problem. My phone is an iPhone 7+ and running iOS 11.2.1. I do have the US Holiday calendar selected and it looks like all other holidays are there except Easter. I even went back a couple years looking for Easter and it doesn't show for previous years either.

Easter is showing up on my iPad Air 2 but not on my iPhone. I have the exact same calendars checked in “Calendars”, including “Holidays in United States “. I do not have “US Holidays” checked. How does one go about getting an answer to this? Paula

It appears that religious holidays have been removed from the iOS calendar. You can subscribe to another calendar that supports the religious holidays of your faith. There have been numerous threads about this, if you wish to search and read them. There are links in most of them, however here is one that I've copied to share with others. Apple has separated out holiday types. Religious holidays are no longer included in the default calendar. Instead, you can install a calendar that is specific to your religious needs. If you click on either link from Safari on your iPhone there is a "Subscribe" button that will install the selected calendar.

There are 2 US Holidays calendars from Apple. The built in one does not have Easter, but the downloadable one (with the same name) does. http://icalshare.com/calendars/2 If anything, I'm not sure why the downloadable one does, unless it is an older one that you might have installed in a previous year.

I believe this to be a change to the newer iOS. It is not on either my iPad Mini 4, or my iPhone X. Both were updated today to iOS 11.2.6, however they did not have it on iOS 11.2.5 either. My wife has an iPhone 5 or 5s, can't remember exactly, but I'll check hers tonight when she gets home from work to see if it is on hers.

I am on the iPhone X 11.2.2 and able to confirm that it’s not (Easter) isn’t present on the calander also. Kinda sketchy that it’s been removed from every year in the app. I would like to see what apples response is for this.

You are not going to see Apple's response here. Your iPhone will only show you 1 year of information at a time. Again, I know that it had been there in the past, but the latest versions of iOS have removed all religious holidays. As provided in earlier posts, you can subscribe to a religious calendar if desired.

Apple isn't going to respond in this user-to-user forum. And they probably won't respond at all. But even if they do, they will tell you to install the calendar that best meets your needs. As there are many Christian calendars available for free, it would be faster to just download and install one than wring your hands over it here. Links to 2 options have already been posted in this thread. I would advise against continuing to discuss why the change has been made because it violates the Terms of Use to discuss Apple policy, and it will simply result in the thread being removed (as others have been already).

It appears that it has returned. Happened a day ago. I'm using my iOS calendar and iCloud. I have the US Holiday's calendar checked. Easter appeared just as quickly as it disappeared. May have been pushed out over iCloud, don't know. I know it wasn't there when iOS 11.2.6 was originally released and I installed it. It may require you to turn your phone off and back on again.
