I have looked at the forums with several similar questions. Couldn't find an answer. I have used garage band for years and have never had this happen. I'm using Garage Band 10.2.0 I have a simple track with vocal and piano. At measure 86 or so the piano part volumne just drops suddenly! Any ideas? Using 10.13.2

Only the piano track, really weird. I looked at the Mix menu, saw delete all automation, picked that but it didn't help any.
OK, I'm there but I don't see anything below Velocity. Do I need to do something?

OK, no change BUT is sounds like it's getting gradually softer likes it is fading.
Ah good question! Same spot on the track. Moved it to the right a few measures and fading starts on measure 89 now. Would that be track or region?

ok, there's one other spot i can think of where the volume can be changed.
in the editor pane open up the Midi Draw panel and select the Volume menuItem in the popUp menu, see if there are any automation points there:
