Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Attempting to burn playlists to disc. Burns first song then error code 0x80004005 appears. This occurred after installing latest update of iTunes. Re-downloaded iTunes but that did not resolve problem.
Please advise

There would appear to be a general issue burning from iTunes 12.7.2.x for Windows.
A workaround is to uninstall iTunes then download and install one of the following as appropriate:

Had this issue as well. Ended up using Microsoft's Windows Media Player to get the CDs burned in time.
What reports? Do you have any links? What makes you think itunes for windows. What is your reasoning there?
It's just I haven't seen enough evidence on this issue to condemn Apple or Microsoft at all. Just speculation.
I haven't seen the issue personally as I have no need to burn CDs from iTunes, but the mix of formats being burnt may also be a factor,

I just had an itunes update 1/24/18 and can burn cd's again
