I have the same problem! The restart solves the problem for probably few hours and then back to the same issue! Why isn’t Apple support responding to it with a proper solution?? Or is it Time that Apple Days are over & they are not technical ready for such launches! Disappointed with IPhone X !
I had a word with the apple service centre. In the beginning they were just telling me to do the troubleshooting steps.. I told them that nothing works.. Then finally they accepted that Apple is aware that iPhone X has this issue and is working for a solution. They haven't given any timeline for the resolution. But this is totally unacceptable from a company. like Apple.
even i was shocked when they told me they dont have solution to this problem and still working on it...we buy the most expensive phone and display does not work when phone rings ...thats the last thing u want ...they are not giving any replacement since its a software issue
I spoke to senior apple technician(rahul) on phone and he said due to ios 11 has lot of bug issue which they were not expecting on iphone x and since they have not found proper update on this display problem they told me to wait for next update ..he cant do anything till that
I’ve been having the same issue! I’ve also tried all the suggestions and nothing has fixed it. I actually have my phone freeze up while using different apps too. It’s not just the phone app. What is apple doing to produce a permanent solution to this incredibly incommodious problem?
I am getting the same issue. Display only comes after 3 to 4 rings. Then no display so cannot answer a call. Reboot cures but next day same issue. I paid £1000 for this phone and can’t answer calls on it. Pathetic
Hey Avinash, I have updated the iPhone too, till now I have not experienced the old problem, but usually the problem comes after receiving 15 to 20 calls once you restart the phone, today being a slow day for me I haven't received too many calls, will update you tomorrow.

they are least bother for that too..i told them that i will go to consumer court..they told me u can do that but we wont refund...arrogance of brand will kill their market..if same problem in USA they would had taken action..they are not bother for indian customer
Paras the problem remains even after updating it to 11.2.5, this is the serious issue not for Apple, Last night few of my friend told that they are also facing the same issue on their iPhone x, don't know what apple will do?

This issue is definitely something that Apple needs to sort out by checking up on the field reality rather than giving staid replies like reinstall OS etc. The issue is present in the iOS 11 onwards & was not in previous versions. They need to check up on what is the change done as far as telephony is concerned. The earlier they do, the better else like in the case of battery slowness, they will some more issues at hand.
I have personally seen the incoming call issue on iPhone 6S plus & iPhone X.

Paras I agree with you its not a SMALL PROBLEM, actually has Apple has failed to make iPhone X a success. Apple may discontinue the first-generation iPhone X | IOL Business Report. They are discontinuing to manufacturing this iPhone X model meaning a total failure

i have the same issue on my iPhone X. Also after my iPhone 7 crashed for no reason in the hands of the staff at the Genius Bar I am beginning to think the rumors are true that updates destroys your current iPhone. So after my iPhone 7 crashed I bought a new iPhone X about 2-3 weeks ago and this is what I get For $1200???? Apple if you don’t your act together you are going to start losing a lot of customer. It is getting old and there are better and more options despite making the Intergrated new of music and Apple Pay and iCloud storage your customers will leave you!!!
Do you have iOS 11.2.5? There has been a lot of bugs reported in that iOS so I’m a little nervous to update because mostly all of those issues are on the iPhone X and I have an iPhone X so I might wait until iOS 11.3 comes out.

I also have the same issue. I contacted Apple support and their response is horrible. I wrote mail to Apple. No response. It shows Apple doesn't care about their product and customers. They are there just to make money. Android is much better when compared to the problems we are all facing with iPhones now a days.
You can do in two ways.
1. Google for iOS 11.3 beta 1 ripsaw download. download the ipsw and install through iTunes.
2. download from your iPhone beta.apple.com/profile and follow the instruction. once installed and restarted go to General and do software update which will install iOS 11.3 beta 1

when receiving incoming call on iphone x its only ringing and vibrate there is no display on screen
