I am also having this issue with all contacts in imessage when speaking in real time.
I contacted Apple and received following advice. Just be warned: You will lose connection and password to wifi, so be sure to be ready for that. (Although my phone found the wifi just fine after logged back in).
The order is important.
In settings, Turn off FaceTime. Turn off iMessage. Sign out of iCloud at bottom of name screen in Settings.
Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network settings.
Once have reset network. Log back into iCloud. Turn on FaceTime. Turn on iMessage.
IF this is too confusing, call Apple tech at 1-800-MYAPPLE. Had to wait awhile, but got great person that walked me through. So far, this has fixed it.
Same here - 6s + 11.2.5. This is really annoying
It's called Agile programming. Push out the code and fix it later. As long as it is released faster/cheaper.
The exact same thing for me. I just updated and started having the problem. If I’m not giving it my full attention I sometimes haven’t realized the person has responded.
Thank you for that information. That seemed to fix the issue.
did NOT work
Still having issues at this time. Thanks for the steps.
Also there are messages losses.😠
Hello AppleGlitches
Yes. This is one of the ways to resolve problem while
we cant touch or moving anything on the screen. Sometime its wonderful and really usefull.
Thankyou
Im still having the same issue 😢 .. Hopefully it will get resolved by the end of the month.
Has anyone been able to resolve this annoying issue? I now turned off iMessages, restarted my phone and now I get an error message when I try to turn iMessages back on. 🙄
I have the same issue on my iPhone. The software is up to date; running iOS 11.2.5.
This is still happening to multiple users on multiple phones at multiple times. Where is Apple’s resolution? Don’t they care?
Having exactly the same issue, really frustrating when you have a quick glance at your messages.
Same issue with iOS 11.2.5
Hope it will be fixed in future versions
