iMessage - messages arriving in wrong order

I am having the same issue. iphone 6s ios 11.2.5. Please let me know how to fix this. It is very annoying!

It is not usefull. Mine is the most updated but it is still not in order, timeline. Answers are always shown before questions.

Good news. I am on 11.3 beta 3 release and it seems to have fixed the out of order issue. Day 4 and all is still in order. First time I have not dealt with this since 11.2.1.

I don't know how Apple develop other complicated solutions, when simple stuff like sorting messages by timestamp makes them trouble.

Your solution worked for me for about 2 weeks. Then I had to do it again. Maybe it’ll stick this time.

This annoying issue has been happening to me since late-Dec 2017 and just started happening to my wife. Apple is really disappointing lately and needs to fix this and overall get their sh*t together.

For me, both iOS 11.2.5 and 11.2.6 don’t work. I have got an iPhone 6S with a battery to change this year
