two days ago I downloaded newest version of iTunes when prompted. Since then I have been unable to burn a playlist that I was able to burn beforehand. It is 1hr19 min. Have called iTunes support call center and unfortunately. they were of no help or unable to understand problem (Foreign call center I suspect) . This playlist worked perfectly before I downloaded newest version. Please can anybody help? I actually use this playlist to make Christmas Cds as gifts for relatives and overseas military family members. Thank you (I have tried rebooting and downloading windows fix but neither has worked. Thank You SO MUCH for any and all help

There would appear to be a general issue burning from iTunes 12.7.2.x for Windows.

A workaround is to uninstall iTunes then download and install one of the following as appropriate:

Reverting to iTunes 12.7.1.14 from 12.7.2.x doesn't require that you roll back the database. Uninstalling doesn't affect your library. That said you really ought to Backup your iTunes for Windows library with SyncToy, or some similar method. That way if you do run into an update you really don't want you can easily restore the pre-upgrade version of your database, or the entire library if needed.

Thank you for at least showing me I wasn't crazy. Tried solving problem myself but just wasted about 30 Cd's before I gave up. Called apple support # talked to person who tried to help but he couldn't solve the problem either. He suggested problem is windows (don't think so) then said might be iTunes cloud problem. Of course this had to happen

While I was burning Cd's for Christmas presents for friends and relatives and some for overseas military family members.

Before I uploaded newest version I could burn several playlists Cd's that were 79 , and 78 and 80 min.s no problem . Now I keep getting message the play list will not fit on one disc.I really don't want to switch to Windows burning as I am somewhat kompuker challenged and I have all my music in my I tunes library. before this problem I have been lucky enough to find solutions for I tunes problems here. So Far haven't found fix for this problem yet. But thank you for replying to my post.

if I do the above fix (uninstall and reinstall) would it possibly effect my playlists? I have over 100 playlists that I make compilations from and worry if I lost them. Years of hard/fun work compiling them Thanks again for trying to help me and others. This is not the 1st time I have had problems with I tunes updates and it's nobody's fault but my own . I really shouldn't EVER click on new version is available do you want to update?
