ios 11.2.1 touch id iphone 6s plus not working

Im having the same issue as of 2 days ago after I updated to the new iOS 11.2.6. My touch ID is non responsive no matter what I do. I cleaned it, reset it, cleaned it some more, reset many times already and still nothing. Apple please fix this!

Yup. I delayed going to iOS 11 until I found a decent "notes" app. And when I did, suddenly my fingerprint stopped working to log on. I have reset my print twice on my phone and iPad, no dice. Very, VERY rarely will the print work to log on. HOWEVER, the fingerprint appeared to work with banking and other apps that used it, UNTIL I tried to enter my print again. Now those don't work either.

Come on Apple, get it together.

Did you have an non original part (screen and/or touch id) replace in another service (not Apple Service)?

I am throwing the BS flag on that play. Yes, there IS a bug, several hundred people have said so. iPhone worked before the update. Does not work after the update. I would say there is a very high possibility of causal coincidence here.

It can't hurt to update, hopefully. Since my phone is now crippled anyway. And yeah, my iPhone 6s was paid for in cash, unlocked and on AT&T.

Because I have a stock, un-repaired phone, I didn’t feel the need to say anything about a third party repair, since there was none.

I have same problem straight after upgrading to iOS 11.2.1. Have never had issues with home button, no moisture etc... it’s the update. Please help with a software bug fix.

My Touch ID on 6s

No longer works to open iPhone

I have erased and reinstalled digits 10 times

No good

Works fine with AMEX and bank accounts

But not to open iPhone

Please fix update

My iPhone 7 has done the same thing also lost all messages in my saved texted messages it cleared the lot.

No touch and no texts what have they done

Also won’t let me reset ginger print just keeps resetting

I have this problem too. Re-enrolling my fingerprint isn't helping either. iPhone 6s Plus

I have the same issue as of today as well and upgraded 2 of my Iphone 6 plus phones to 11.2.1. Please fix this, or provide us a way to back rev to code to 10.3.3 which was working!

Doesn’t solve the problem.

I managed to get it to add a fingerprint, but it worked once, and then on startup greeted all out again. It is a software bug clearly from all of the other responses.

I’m having the same issue. Whats the solution can any one tell ??
