Pages will NOT print entire document

This must be, yet another High Sierra bug. (as complicated as downgrading will be - downgrading will be worth it)

Anyway, I'm under pressure to get a document out tonight - it's only 15 pages (and I've printed this many times before - before installing High Sierra anyway) - but tonight every time I try to print I only get pages 1 through 9 (even though the computer indicates, quite clearly, that it intends to print all 15 pages). I really don't know what to do, or what I should do, or even how to take the next step toward troubleshooting (what should be utterly trivial). This kind of nonsense is SO Microsoft Windows.

Yeah, anyway, if anyone knows a work around for something that should be ultra simple - printing a document - then let me know. Geez.

Have you tried:

  • printing only pages 10 to 15
  • Printing all, but clicking PDF and choosing Open PDF in Preview (then printing from there).
  • (depends on what elements the document contains) Copying the content of the unprinted part of the document and pasting it into a new Pages document, then printing the new document.

None of these are intended as a long-term solution, but as a workaround that may get you past the current crisis.

Once that is passed, please use the Provide Pages Feedback item in the Pages menu to report the issue to Apple. Here, you're talking with users of the software like yourself.

Barry

That is why we ask (repeatedly).

That is actually a HP Laserjet Pro M452dn and you are in Australia?

There is a later Printer Driver.

Try installing this (check you actually have the one for macOS 10.13 High Sierra):

HP Software and Driver Downloads for HP Printers, Laptops, Desktops and More | HP® Customer Support

I understand your frustration and anger, but I don't understand not doing the obvious tests and ignoring the suggestions.

Peter

btw I have not upgraded to High Sierra because I look before I leap.
