I can't get a location to go away in apple maps. It has a blue icon with a house and a wrench beside it. It only gives me the option to share the location but not remove. I have an iphone 7+ and the most recent update not including 11.2.1.

Go to Settings, Privacy, Location Services, System Services, Significant Locations.... Here is where I found the location that I couldn't delete, it has worked without showing up as a suggested location after I deleted it from my significant locations. I went back to try and remember where I found this odd location just now and it was still in there and says I have been there 29 times.

Thanks much, it worked for me. Has anyone told Apple that their instructions didn’t work on some destination’s locations? I am wondering if it has to do with having multiple recent visits?
I found how to remove the history entries. I rebuilt my iPhone X and got back my photos and text messages but the histories would still not delete.
I found by turning off "iCloud Drive" the entries disappeared and I was left with just the Favorites. You may be able to turn off just the Maps option under the iCloud Drive and accomplish the same thing.
I am now testing to see if I can turn it back on after the entries were removed to see if they will come back. So far, they have not come back so possibly I can now leave the iCloud Drive option enabled if I need it.
I attempted to delete a location in Maps by going to Privacy, Location Services but there is no other option after that as reco. I have the 6S+
