I have tried to burn cd's from playlists. Since installing the latest version of itunes, when i do this it writes the first couple of songs and the stops with the 0x8004005 error message. Could you please let me know how to stop this from happening. I am using a Toshiba Satellite with windows 10.
It does seem that way sometimes, although it isn't possible to tell how many people scan the thread for a solution and simply apply it without adding to the conversation.

You're welcome. I've managed a quick test burn here at maximum speed with a mix of AAC and MP3 source files and it went perfectly. Yet to get around to looking for other errors.

I just downloaded the new version of iTunes. I was able to burn a cd without any errors.
I am also having this same issue with the latest update. Apparently the update did not fix the problem or the issue is something else completely. Have you had any luck on your end?

I have managed to burn a cd after the latest update. I'm hoping that it's been fixed. Sorry to hear you're still having problems.
I downloaded the latest version (I think), 12.7.3.46, and it works just fine. I have been able to burn an audio cd.
