Why does music stay on the lock screen

Mine stayed for a while, then I updated & it went away. I recently updated my phone last night, and it’s back again. It’s pretty annoying.

Just updated mine and it went away I updated it to the iOS 11.3 so it should work for everyone else

This is exactly what my phone looks like as well...Very annoying to see it there all the time.

I’m really frustrated that Apple wants us to delete other music apps to solve the problem - I am certain this is by design!

Go to SETTINGS - NOTIFICATIONS - MUSIC APP then turn off the bottom three toggle switches. Boom. Won’t appear anymore 😝

I updated my phone and it made no difference! Huge mistake for Apple to assume they can make this decision for you!

For me, 2thDoc18 solution worked after a power cycle. I killed all notifications from the Apple Music Player app under notifications, did a power-cycle, and that stupid banner went away!

Tried everything here, to no avail. Finally turned off Bluetooth and restarted. That worked. However, I fully expect it to come back next time I Bluetooth.

I have had the same issue for a couple of weeks. Reading the post that said to power off and restart the phone worked.

That’s a temporary fix. Next time you go to music player it happens again. Annoying!!
