Apple Smart Keyboard not working

I have An iPad Pro 12.9” with an Apple Smart Keyboard that only works here and there...I have tried all the suggested fixes and while it might work again for a few minutes it then stops again...it is not only my Outlook mail program and this only started in the last month and I am up to date on iOS updates 11.2.1. It wouldn’t connect as I am writing this question.

iPad Pro Smart Keyboard not working

Its a problem lots of people, including me, have. Getting a replacement helps, but my replacement stopped working after 2 months. The best way is to either get a BT keyboard or wait it out until Apple notices and fixes it.
