Change username of Apple Support Communities

I just submitted your request to the hosts. It's a holiday weekend in the US, but if you don't hear back in the next few days post back and one of us will follow up.

I've let the Hosts know. They should be in touch with you directly. Let me know if you haven't heard back in a day or two.

You would have had to select a username when you posted here on the ASC. I will notify the hosts, and they should get in touch with you via email.

You're welcome. Yes, the Hosts will contact you via email (secret that only they can see from your Apple ID)

If it takes too long, be sure to check your Junk/SPAM folder of your email account (I get several false positives from Apple.com email addresses per week - sometimes a LOT)

It really doesn't matter whether your user name is related to your actual location. As there is a limited number of times (once, I think) that the Hosts will change your username unless there are serious issues, I'd suggest choosing one you'll be comfortable with no matter where you move to in the future.

The Hosts contact you via email -

I imagine that they changed it to something they made up because they did not hear back from you

Check your SPAM/Junk folder of your email account for the message from communityhosts@apple.com
