1. Force close Safari application. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201330
2 Clear History Caches and Website Data. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201265
3. Settings > Safari > Search
Turn off Search Engine Suggestions,
Safari Suggestions,
Quick Website Search
and
Preload Top Hit.
4. Highlight and delete the entry in the Safari’s search bar.
Press spacebar key on the keyboard twice.
Enter the URL for the site manually and then “Go”.
Test for a while.
Repeat step 4 for all sites that manifest the problem.
After a while, re-enable those disabled Safari search options.

None of your suggestions work on this problem. And for me the problem has increased dramatically in the last two days. Apple, please get your head out of the sand and find a cure.
