I am still a student and still don't have a lot of money. This price reduction is significant to me. I only use and support Apple as a student for work. Please do not just think from your point of view.

Even if I wanted to move to another platform, I still have to wait till I earn enough money. I am still a student and doing my best to save money for tuition. I use an iPhone, and the battery drained way too quickly; Not enough battery life for school work thus I spent most of my savings on the replacement of the battery. Please do understand and stop criticising my opinions. I am free to state my opinions, and it is your choice to reply. If it is not helpful in any way, why bother replying?
Yes, you are entitled to your opinion. But then we should end this discussion as this is not an opinion forum. This is a user to user technical support forum. Have a problem? Ask a question. Users provide an answer.
Good luck with your studies and future endeavors.

And other people are free to criticize them. As long as it is done civilly, they are not breaking the rules. Telling people to stop posting is considered bad form, though.

I understand that... but why do people keep on replying to my comment... wait... I'm contradicting myself now... k. bye
For a variety of different reasons. No one is required to explain why they respond. I suspect it all pretty much boils down to "they want to".
And they should bend to all customers that suffered damages due to Apple’s purposeful behavior. The date shouldn’t matter. The question is, “were you hurt by Apple’s policy?” If the answer is yes, they you should get a refund. The Dec. 14, date is just an arbitrary date. Apple should do the right thing.

No one suffered any damage. The changes in iOS didn't cause the batteries to become old. It simply changed the behavior of the phone that had an already aging battery.

Apple purposely slowed down performance without telling its customers. That is the damage.
Apple purposely prevented people's phones from suddenly shutting off, leaving them with no means of communication. That's a benefit. And, although I admit it could have been clearer, they did tell people.

Why wasn’t the message mocking me with Cat downloads taken down as non constructive ?
Are you saying you don't like cat pictures on Instagram? Seriously, who doesn't like pictures of kittens?
I like kittens just fine, it’s censorship that I don’t like. I’m sure you’ll take this post down too, so I’ll just post my original one on my social media accounts where people can actually read them. Signing off for good :)

The only people who can remove things are the Hosts, of which I'm not one. And, you agreed to the Terms of Use when you signed up. Said terms included the advisory that Apple owns all posts and can remove things at its discretion.
Ha! Exactly the same as me! I am sure going to try getting my $50 back! Good luck to you!
That's awesome news. Congratulations
So only refunds for people that replaced batteries on or after December 14th? Does that mean the rest of us that had batteries die sooner get nothing?
I am so sorry. That stinks!
Battery replacement refund?
