Purchased an iPad Pro latest version from a 3rd party vendor. Contacted Apple support to find out the remaining warranty. They told me the iPad was 14,000 days out of warranty. It was sold "as is" without any Apple warranty. I have never heard of this and was wondering if anyone else had information on this. Apple was of little help.

I did some price checking. Apple sells the iPad Pro 12.9" 256GB in the U.S. for US$949. If you can find one at Costco and you're a Costco member, it would cost US$899.99. The site John Villard referenced offers the device for US$629.99.
Is that price "too good to be true"? Absolutely.

This is definitely a concert. Can you recommend a way to fully test the iPad's hardware? This also does not explain why a 6 month old product would be out of warranty. Thank you.
