iPhone X lens cracked

I can see a few people have also had their iPhone X camera lens crack !!!! My was bought on a Thursday and instantly put into a case and had a glass screen protector fitted, by the end of the weekend my lens had a crack in it and then the next day a complete hole around the lens !!! No drops, no keys or coins in my pockets nothing.... same story from apple only complete phone replacement at a cost of $750.... obviously there is a flaw in the lens glass.... I’ve owned every iPhone since 2007 and ( touch wood ) never cracked a screen and finally to buy the panicle of iPhones only to have it break for no reason after a few days is extremely disappointing....

I have exactly the same issue around the mic - apple wanted £500+ to replace the phone as they can't fix this glass.

Same here. 11 days of use, no drops, cell in the pocket alone and suddenly a crack around mic.

Did they explain to you what they would not do an out-of-warranty replacement? There has to be some part of the story that is missing here. And that is a really short coffee table.

Experienced the same issue. Have a case, and a PopSocket. Somehow an object made it through both and targeted the glass around the microphone.

I just bought my phone at noon and by 2.30 hours its cracked from my pocket which only my phone was kept in it , why apple cant fix this issue ,im feeling awfull

Exact same thing happened to me. Never dropped and always been in case... yet the camera lens is cracked... something doesn't add up. How can the back glass not crack but the camera can...

Add me to the list! Got my iPhone X at the end of April and out of nowhere the lens was cracked a few months later. I refuse to pay $549 for a new phone, that’s just insane!
