iPhone X lens cracked

I have the same problem. Bought my new iphoneX three days back. It was always in the case and had screen protector since the time I bought the phone. I never dropped it and always kept in my pocket. Today I noticed a crack in front of the rear camera and was extremly dissapointed. I am

using my iphone 6s since last 3 year which doesnt have a single fine scratch on complete body, so you can imagine the level of care I take of my device. Now reading this complete thread, I dont see any hope of getting this fixed in Apple Store but will give a try.

Apple Team! This is high time to take some serious steps and work on fixing this problem. With so many users sharing the same experience, there seems to be a genuine design issue.

Yep, same thing happened to me a few weeks ago, bought a brand new iPhone X less than 2 months ago and the camera cracked on the lens and it’s never been dropped and has a solid, expensive case. I’ve owned Apple iPhones since they first came out and have never had a camera cracked, the x obviously has a more sensitive Camera but they want me to pay 630 euros (Aussie currently living in Germany) to replace the stupid thing, fuming!!

Thank God I got Apple Care, because they basically marked it as my fault and I paid $99 for a new iPhone replacement. Not cool.

same issue as all here, it looks like the lens is made of thin plastic, has anyone contacted the CEO of apple to complain, I'm thinking of doing it.?

I have been to the apple store today and they say the its a full replacement at a cost of £636, I am disgusted that this is happening and Apple are not doing anything. remember the banana 6?

That looks like it's been scratched. Do you keep you phone in your purse where the lens is subject to be jostled against things like keys?

Same here! The only thing I can think about is the cold weather after a week on the alps, but it shouldn’t be the case!

Not really, they offered a replacement for £599!

I was told it would be £659, Apple are looking into it for me!

I have the same problem here. Within 2 weeks of purchase, I suddenly found a crack on my lens glass. Very disappointed. It is obviously a design problem. Apple should at least offer a free fix.

Mine lens cover is cracked with a hole in it. Has anyone been successful in repairing at a low cost.

something happen to my iPhone x took it to apple last week and they said 588 and i got my phone on 3/1/18 im ****** apple needs a recall asap
