High Sierra Location Services Not Working

My MAC has High Sierra 10.13.2 and "Enable Location Services" is checked. However Siri, Maps, and other applications cannot find me.

My wife's Mac has Yosemite and her Location services work fine. We are on the same home wi-fi network.

Items that I have tried: I turned location off and waited a few minutes...no luck. Went into safe mode. I asked Siri where I was, Siri doesn't work in safe mode. However, when I opened maps, and clicked the "arrow" locator icon, it found me! Restarted in normal mode. Maps, Siri, Find My Device all state they can NOT find me.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have this problem too on my Mac Pro and apple phone support could not help me. They want me to take it to a store, but I am sure it’s a software problem. Did you ever get it fixed?

I've got a weird one: my "Enable Locations" box keeps unchecking itself. I do not know what causes this.

I just updated my new MacBook Pro with TouchBar to macOS 10.13.4 and this problem started to occur to me... Does anyone have a solution yet?

I have the same version and I do believe that is the common denominator. I wish Apple would at least admit the problem and tell us thwy’re Working on a fix.

I travel a lot for work and the fact that the time is not updating is quite annoying

Have you made sure Location Services as been selected and turned on etc in System Settings on the Mac? Sorry for stating the obvious, I'm sure you have checked.

It happens some times if Mac is not catching the wifi signals or signals are weak , but these settings are not be unchecked like correct continent , correct closest city should be shown .

New development, the Enable Locations box is unchecking itself with every single restart.

Re: calendar you can enable time zone support and then manually select the time zone your calendar appears in during the interim whilst Apple releases a fix... hope this helps...
