AppleTV Bluetooth Connection Limit

Again, as you are using them over wifi then it isn't on bluetooth so all the previous discussion was irrelevant. Any issue therein would be with the sensor itself when used with the Apple TV and you would need to contact the company directly.

It should be added the possibility wich allows users to turn off remote control or airpods if it needs for connecting more other Bluetooth controllers or devices. I don’t need to connect my AirPods or some other audio devices to Apple TV but I need to connect three cycling sensors (cadence, speed, heart rate monitor). What’s the problem Apple? Do it possible!

In this case could you explane me the difference with Bluetooth chips in iPhone and Apple TV, cause I’m able to pair four cycling sensors with iPhone without any issues I’m talking about iphone 8 and iphone 7?

Initially you said it was Bluetooth and then that you were connecting over wifi, if it’s the latter then you aren’t using Bluetooth.

Again, in terms of Bluetooth there’s a big difference between pairing multiple Bluetooth devices (which has been possible for awhile) and using them simultaneously (requires BT 5 compatibility on both ends). Furthermore, Apple didn’t create the bluetooth protocol and add new technology once it has become mainstream (similar to the AC wifi standard)

At any rate this is more an issue with the sensors themselves in relation to theIr use with Apple TV, and you need to contact the company about it.

You didn’t answer my question about difference with iPhone 8 and Apple TV 4K Bluetooth chips. With iPhone 8 I’m able to pair more then 3 Bluetooth sensors without any issues but with Apple TV no only 2 :(

I use a wahoo kick, cadence, and heart rate sensors with my MacBook Air (that's three bluetooth devices) and have no issues connecting all three at the same time. However, Apple TV does not support this for some reason. Apple TV folks should talk to the MacBook folks....

The same problem here with Zwift. I suppose that is a stupid program limitation by Apple. Hope they will improve it. It really needs.

Even though It’s possible to pair more then 5 Bluetooth 4.0 sensors with iPhone from iphone 4s even with airpods simultaneously. That’s why

Pairing more than one device is possible on any device and has been for quite some time. Playback on both simultaneously is not, that is a feature of BT 5 and AirPods do not support that.

Hope so! But all this stuff works fine on the newest iPhones with Bluetooth 5 without any problem likewise on previous model

You made no mention of cycling sensors and were the one who brought up AirPods. If you’re using them over wifi then that isn’t using Bluetooth

Sorry if so but what about cycling sensors why not to use more then two in Apple tv like in iPhone?

I’ve just successfully connected to Apple tv 4k three devices simultaneously ( 2 sensors and one jbl speaker) without any issues, all works fine. Why I can’t pair 3d sensor instead of speaker?
