Notes in Contacts truncated since High Sierra

I depend a lot on the Notes section in Apple Contacts. But since upgrading to High Sierra these have been chopped off - truncated - and I can't access the whole Notes. There was a previous post, but in 3 months there was no effective response. It seems to be a bug that needs fixing. Please hurry up and fix this Apple. As a matter of fact, this is not the only truncation since High Sierra. So it really is time to fix things that are broken.
