MacBook Air won't charge my iPhone
I had this issue when I first got this laptop a year ago. It started probably a month after I bought it. I called Apple Support and they told me they couldn't do anything for me and that I should restart my laptop to fix the issue. While that was a long time ago, I continued to live with the issue because sometimes the USB port would work and I dont live near an apple store that I can simply take it in.
Now I've gotten to the point where the USB port will not charge my phone at all under any circumstances.
Before it would connect and disconnect over and over and then after fiddling around with it, unplugging it, plugging it back in, trying the other port ect, it would finally work and I'd be annoyed but relieved.
I am using the cord that came with my iPhone so I know for sure that is not the issue.
Now it won't work at all. It's constantly reconnecting and disconnecting. I tried resetting both my phone and my laptop and it still won't work.
I'm out of the year warranty on the laptop so I can't go that route, I'm hoping maybe someone with the same issue could help me by giving me advice on how you fixed yours or if there is a permanent fix or honestly anything at all that may be helpful.
Thanks in advance!
