disable digital touch on iphone

I keep accidentally sending digital touch messages to people when I'm texting, the most common is what I think is called a fireball. I know, I'm an idiot, but even so it's irritating. Is there some setting out there that will allow me to disable digital touch? I really have no need to send people fireballs or any of those other pretty effects, so I'd rather just turn them off. Thanks!
