Setting crash and close iCloud back up fails Apple Music crashed iPhone X and iOS is the worst iPhone I’ve had to date, I should have stuck with my 7 plus! Very disappointed Apple

Music keeps deleting I tried the optimize storage thing and it did not work. I download the music then after a while it deletes again. It does not matter if I just listened to the song. I don’t know if this happens when my iPad dies but it’s a big problem. And it’s not like one or two songs it’s pretty much my whole library. Please help.

Problems with iPhone Music and backups I have my 128 Gb iPhone 13 Mini (iOS 15.6) backing up and syncing to my 1 Tb M1 MBAir (OS 12.5). My MBA is my main machine, and has ~40 Gb of music on it, mostly ripped from CDs but about 10% purchased. My iPhone, however, has ~80 Gb of music showing when I check my iPhone storage. This showed up recently when I started to get memory storage warnings that my 128 Gb was getting full. Except it shouldn't be full. It has twice the downloaded music it should have. It should have ~45 Gb free. I tried to fix this by de-selecting Sync Music. That resulted in my iPhone having no identifiable downloaded music in the Music app. But when I checked the iPhone memory, it still said ~40 Gb was taken up with music (at least it was down from 80 Gb). I turned Sync Music back on, and an hour later, all the music was restored to the iPhone. But the playlists were not restored, AND the memory once again had 80 Gb of music. How do I get rid of the 40 Gb or "phantom music" that is taking up my iPhone memory space? How do I get my playlists back onto my iPhone?

Music app crashing Since I updated my iPhone (7+) to iOS 11.2.6 my Music app will not launch, every time I open it it immediately crashes. I have trawled the internet for a solution but the best anyone can come up with is backing up and restoring but that brings me to my second issue.This is what I have tried to fix the music app crashing issue:Hard restart on the phoneClosing appsResetting network settingsPower off/onNone of these have workedThe second issue is that I cannot get my phone to backup to iCloud or my Mac. When I try to backup to iCloud it just says it has failed when I plug into my Mac it says: "iPhone could not be synced because the connection to the iPhone was reset".In an attempt to fix this issue I have tried the following:Restart MacRe-install iTunesDelete old backupsSetup new user on my Mac and plugging into that version of iTunesChanging lightning cableChanging USB portsSwitching to sync over wi-fi(Mac specs: MacOS High Sierra 10.13.3, iTunes 12.7.3.46)Nothing works and I am starting to get angry, I pay for Apple Music but currently I am not able to use it on my phone (which is where I use it primarily). I suspect one suggested solution will be to take it to an Apple Store but my nearest store is a 90 mile round trip (which of course would be without music!).
