Business calendar solution for macOS and iOS

Hi everyone,

we are a small business and we are using our iCloud accounts and the Apple calendar apps on our iPhones as well as our Macs. We are using our private iCloud accounts because our web hoster's calendar feature is the worst.

This solution is far from optimum though. The two main reasons for that are as follows:

1) Events in a shared calendar cannot be marked as "private". That is, in a shared calendar I want others to see I have an appointment but not what it is. This is something I remember from Microsoft Outlook and we would really appreciate.

2) The Apple calendar app on macOS does not offer the option to mark events as either "busy" or "free". The iPhone can do that though. The problem with this is that when you create an all-day event on a Mac the default setting for it is "busy", which is a problem when using the calendar with services like Calendly because they let you appear as unavailable the whole day. On your Mac you cannot change that, so the only option would be to go through each and every all-day event on your iPhone and change it manually to "free", which is not really a solution.

I was wondering whether there is a better solution that satisfies our needs as we are not the only firm having these requirements, I guess.
