Is there a way to bookmark a PDF on a Mac?

I am looking to bookmark PDFs, a feature that is available in Adobe, in order to navigate to pages quicker. I normally use Preview for my PDFs. Is there a way to do this or something similar in preview or another mac program?

With a little exploration, you will find that Preview has a bookmark facility. And if you have thumbnails enabled, you select the thumbnail (page) that you want to bookmark, and press ⌘-B (or Tools menu : Add Bookmark). A page with a Bookmark will have a small red icon in the upper right corner, and the selecting the Bookmarks (red box) menu item below will list all bookmarks in the PDF.
