Unable to Add Clean Versions of Songs to a Playlist

I have a playlist that I use when I'm with my student athletes on which I need to have clean versions of certain songs. For my own listening pleasure, I have the non-edited versions in my own library, but when I attempt to add the clean versions of those same songs to my age-appropriate playlist, Apple Music is adding the explicit version instead. I've read other threads to try and find an answer but none of them have been helpful thus far.

Hey there, a.graywv.

I see that Apple Music is adding the incorrect version of songs you use. Instead of the age-friendly version, your playlists are including the explicit version. I'm happy to help.

Delete songs and videos from your iCloud Music Library -- Since Apple Music can't differentiate between the two versions, you would need to remove the one you don't wish to include. The information in this article will help.

Cheers!
