Cannot uninstall/update iTunes on Windows 10

EDIT: iTunes works perfectly other than this one issue. I can still open iTunes, add music and everything else. I just can't uninstall, reinstall or upgrade.

Long story short, Microsoft forced a Windows 10 Fall Creators Update on me, the update was causing my laptop to constantly freeze to reverted to previous version. When I did so, it looked like iTunes had been uninstalled, it shows up like this in my programs list in Control Panel:

User uploaded file

When I try to uninstall or update iTunes I get this:

User uploaded file

When I click on OK I get the following message: The path 'C:\Users\Josh\AppData\Local\Apple\Apple Software Update\iTunes64.msi' cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'iTunes64.msi' in a folder from which you can install the product iTunes. I tried navigating to that folder but the AppData folder doesn't seem to exist. EDIT: I found it but there's no folder other than Microsoft in it. How do I fix this, if it can be fixed? This has happened to me before but I can't remember how I fixed it.

null-OTHER, Windows 10, null

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates. Start with Missing MSI errors.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.

The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version as a workaround for installation or performance issues.

Your library and device backups should be unaffected by these steps but there are links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.
