Apple Watch Charging/Dead

My apple watch died, when I plugged it into the charger it worked for a little while and then died again. At the time, I figured perhaps it wasn't on the charger correctly and just did not get fully charged again. Now, however, after attempting to charge the watch on multiple cords, multiple USBs, outlets etc. it is stuck on the charging screen...the screen with the red lightening bolt and the time. Hard resets wont work, I've tried holding each button for 10+ seconds as well as both together for 10+ seconds. I did the most recent update, so the software should be the latest version. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi

Follow the instructions here, including contacting Apple Support (mail-in service may be available, if required), making a Genius Bar reservation or visiting an Apple Authorised Service Provider if necessary:

Be sure to use only an Apple or MFi-certified USB power adapter or third-party accessory in conjunction with the Magnetic Charging Cable or Magnetic Charging Dock when charging your Apple Watch.

If you are already doing so, then try using another such cable and/or power adapter. If you have access to one, try using an Apple iPad USB Power Adapter first and be sure to allow at least 30 minutes before checking whether the watch is charging successfully.
