Hearing speaker slot for making calls not working properly.

On my iPhone 6- the hearing slot at the top for making calls is not working, I can barley hear the other person and after turning all volume option on and all the way up the sound is still very very low. I have not dropped the phone. Does Apple offer free repair for this issue?
