Ipod classic 120gb, frozen on apple logo after force restart.

My IPod 120gb classic is frozen even after force restart it stays stuck showing the Apple logo on the screen. Tried everything I can think of, including hooking it up to my computer. Didn't work, is there a way I can fix this problem or is my iPod permentaly broken?

Model # A1238 I think, can't read the model number clearly.
